2. Cold Room

Cold Storage

Cold storages are spaces that are cooled and controlled in conditions of need and insulated against heat and moisture gain from the outside atmosphere in order to keep foodstuffs for a longer period of time than they can be stored under normal conditions.

Evaporator

Another name for the steaming used in cooling systems is evaporator. The evaporator is also called a cooling coil. Evaporator; In the cooling system, it is the section where the refrigerant enters as a liquid and leaves as gas after evaporating. When the refrigerant enters the channels of the evaporator, it absorbs the heat from the cooled substance or the environment, and while absorbing the heat from the environment, it starts boiling and evaporates. As a result of these processes, the evaporator performs the cooling, which is the general purpose of the whole system.

Condenser

In cooling systems, it is the section where the substance providing cooling enters as a gas and gives its heat to the environment and becomes liquid. It can be found outside the cooling systems or hidden inside the insulation material.

Central Cooling System

It is the external unit of cold storage where multiple evaporators are connected in multiple cooling storages.

3. Fire Systems

Aqueous Fire Extinguishing Systems

These systems, known as sprinkler systems, are systems where water is used in fire intervention. Using various hoods (sprinklers, fire cabinets, etc.), the desired place is intervened. If we list the design of the water fire extinguishing system from the beginning; redundant fire pumps with required capacity
(electric, jockey and diesel), collector, valve groups (rising shaft
valve, flow switch, traceable butterfly valve, relief valve, wet alarm valve), fire line, zone control groups (traceable butterfly valve, test drain valve, flow switch), fire brigade connection, hydrant line, fire cabinets and finally sprinkler line.

Gas Fire Extinguishing Systems

They are systems used in situations where water fire extinguishing is not useful and various gases are used as firestop. These system structures are used in server rooms, data processing rooms, IT rooms, medical areas and places with high historical value. There are three types of gas extinguishing depending on the type of gas used.

Foam Fire Extinguishing System

Foam-based extinguishing systems are generally used in places that are dangerous as liquid flammable and cannot be intervened with water and gas. Its main uses are; medicine, plastic, paint, food, etc. It is used in chemical production factories and enterprises, pertol refineries, aircraft and helicopter hangars, military warehouses, petrol stations.

Dry Chemical Fire Extinguishing System

Dry chemical fire extinguishing systems are used to extinguish flammable and flammable petrochemical products, to prevent flammability and explosion during fire. Structurally, they consist of powder-shaped particles. The chemical components in its content vary according to the fire class. They are based on sodium bicarbonate, potassium bicarbonate, potassium sulphate, potassium chloride for BC class fires and consist of monoammonium phosphate based for ABC class fires and alkaline chrolides for class D fires. Dry chemical powders extinguish the fire with the effect of smothering and cooling, and they prevent radiation emission to a great extent due to their fresh form.

4. Clean Water

Clean Water Tanks

These tanks, which contain domestic water in buildings, can be produced as reinforced concrete, stainless steel and composite plastic. There are filling and discharging connections on them. Floater and level indicator are included with these connections during system installation.

Accumulation Tank

Accumulation tanks are systems that heat and store the water inside by means of various heat sources such as heat exchangers, boilers, solar panels. The feature that distinguishes the accumulation tanks from the boilers is that there is no serpentine in it and it uses an external heating source. In the boilers, there are serpentines that serve as water heater.

Heat Exchanger

Accumulation tanks are systems that heat and store the water inside by means of various heat sources such as heat exchangers, boilers, solar panels. The feature that distinguishes the accumulation tanks from the boilers is that there is no serpentine inside and the use of an external heating source. Serpentines, which act as water heaters in boilers, are a resource use. In the boilers, there are serpentines that serve as water heaters.

Reverse Osmosis

There are basically two stages in water treatment with reverse osmosis. In the first stage, the water to be treated is passed through a pre-cleaning process. During this process, solid particles are extracted from water as much as possible. In the second stage, the water is pumped to high pressures and then passed through separator membranes. Thanks to the separating membranes,
Most of the salt found is cleaned. It is the reverse of the osmosis system. With the Reverse Osmosis method, water cannot be completely removed from salt. Therefore, drinking water cannot be produced through this treatment. But thanks to RO, water of suitable quality can be produced for uses such as agricultural water and mains water. One of the biggest problems of this system is the cost and maintenance of the separator membrane. Decomposing membrane system
It is one of the expensive parts and because it works under high pressure, it is easily worn out and may need to be replaced over time. In addition, the separating membrane must be cleaned periodically to prevent infections that may occur in water.

Water Softening Unit

Water softening is the process of removing Magnesium (Mg) and Calcium (Ca) ions from water that cause calcification in the water. Here, the treatment process is done by replacing Magnesium and Calcium ions with Sodium (Na) ions. Hard water (lime water), energy consumption, use of cleaning agents and consumption of chemicals
increases. In addition, it causes irreparable malfunctions in installations, heating devices, washing, dishwashing, ironing machines.

Sand Filter

It provides the purification of macro-structured particles that do not dissolve in water and cause turbidity by passing them through various sand minerals in the sand filter. It is used before the Reverse Osmosis system and this system also protects the reverse osmosis system.

Ultraviolet Filtering

Ultraviolet water purification system is used to eliminate microorganisms in the water. Water is separated from microorganisms inside by passing through ultraviolet device that emits low wavelength and high energy rays that are not harmful to human health.

5. Compressed Air Systems

Compressed air systems are systems that ensure the proper distribution of compressed air needed in process operations. The main elements of the system;

Compressor

Producing compressed air by compressing atmospheric air like a spring
called machines. It converts mechanical energy into pneumatic energy. In industrial applications, compressors take their rotational motion from an electric motor.

Compressed Air Line

153/5000
Generally, main line galvanized pipe, which provides the transfer of the compressed air coming out of the compressor to the place where it is needed in the process, is made with ABS pipes.

It is used to inflate the tires of wheeled vehicles such as automobiles, bicycles, trucks, buses, ventilation of underground facilities, mines and buildings, presses, punches, rivet machines, brakes are also used in industry.

6. Renewable Energy

Wind Turbines

Unlike liquids, air moves faster and covers every part of its environment. With the rapid displacement of the air, the movement of the particles in it is also rapid. The process of converting this property of air into kinetic energy is called Wind Energy. Wind turbines are the system that does this job. Wind turbine in three parts
occurs; propellers, shaft and generator.

Solar Panels

They are systems that absorb the sun rays by the cells on them and convert them into electrical energy. The performance of a solar cell is measured by its efficiency. It determines the efficiency that converts the energy it receives into usable electricity. Only certain wavelengths of light can be converted into electricity, the rest being absorbed or reflected by the large amount of cell-forming matter. The panels are directed towards the sun at different angles depending on the seasons, and it is possible to obtain maximum efficiency in every season.

Geothermal Energy

Geothermal energy, in short, is the energy source obtained from high temperature water and its steam from underground. Water reaching the earth in the form of snow and rain reaches the rocks heated by the magma by leaking through the cracks in the earth's crust. The water that reaches the hot rocks gets warmer. Warmed water occurs on earth in the form of volcanoes and geysers in different parts of the world. The temperature of this water coming to the earth
is usually 150 degrees Celsius.
